CHEE HOO! The Pasifika Festival in the Bay is our annual celebration of Pacific identities, languages, and cultures across the Bay of Plenty region. Every year, Early Childhood Centres, schools, families, and communities come together to honour the richness of Pacific heritage.
Dive into a world of vibrant colours, live music, delicious kai, and traditions as we unite as one Pacific family.
In 2025, we gather again on Saturday, 1st November at Ōtūmoetai College for a full day of joy, connection, and culture — starting with a Pōwhiri at 9:30 AM (live-streamed).

The Pasifika Festival in the Bay is a proud occasion that unites communities to celebrate the diverse cultures of the Pacific Islands.
