Advancing Pacific Education
Supported by the Ministry of Education and aligned with the Action Plan for Pacific Education 2020–2030, our programme offers a unique “vaka” journey in professional learning. In partnership with experienced Pacific educators, school leaders, teachers, and communities, we focus on raising Pacific student achievement through genuine talanoa, strategic planning, and actionable outcomes. This is a customisable approach that meets the distinctive needs of your Early Childhood Centre or School.
Develop the hallmarks of outstanding teaching as defined in the “Characteristics of a Good Teacher” (Tapasā, 2018, p.7).
Cultivate an environment that respects and celebrates the diverse identities, languages, and cultures of Pacific learners.
Foster collaborative and respectful relationships that enhance learning and wellbeing.
Apply tailored pedagogical approaches that translate into practical, impactful classroom practices.
Implement strategies that ensure Pacific students thrive in a culturally responsive, supportive setting.
Our expert facilitators lead your school through a comprehensive, face-to-face learning experience. From the moment participants are welcomed with authentic Pacific music and a respectful acknowledgement of tangata whenua, every detail is designed to engage all learning styles. The sessions are interactive and outcome-focused, empowering educators with the skills and confidence to make a lasting impact in their classrooms.
