Term 3 is here, and we are thrilled to bring back the Homo Haia Homework Hub! This is a completely FREE academic support programme designed specifically for Year 9-13 Pacific learners across the Bay of Plenty.

We know that homework can be challenging, which is why we have brought together a team of highly qualified teachers from a range of curriculum subject areas to help you succeed—all in a welcoming, culturally enriching environment.

The best part? Free kai is provided at every session to keep your energy levels up while you work!

Here is everything you need to know to join us this Term:

Where & When to Join Us:

Tauranga Girls’ & Boys’ Colleges (3:30 PM – 5:30 PM)

  • Wednesdays: August 5th, 19th & September 2nd at the Pōwhenua Exhibition Space.

  • Thursdays: July 30th, August 13th, 27th & September 10th at the TBC Health Room.

Malohi – Te Puke High School (3:15 PM – 5:15 PM)

  • Tuesdays: July 28th, August 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th. September 1st, 8th & 15th in Room 615 ESOL.

Po Ako – Katikati College (3:30 PM – 5:30 PM)

  • Wednesdays: July 29th, August 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th. September 2nd, 9th & 16th in the Aiga Room.

Mount Maunganui College (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM)

  • Wednesdays: July 29th, August 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th. September 2nd, 9th & 16th in Room A1.

Whether you need help with a specific subject, want to catch up on assignments, or just want a quiet, supportive space to study with your peers—the Homo Haia Homework Hub is here for you.

This programme is open to all Pacific students. Just show up to your local college’s session on the designated day with your schoolwork, and we will take care of the rest!
