Are you a Year 9-13 student in Tauranga looking for some extra help with your homework? The Homo Hāia Homework Hub is here for you! This free programme is all about supporting Pacific learners to reach their academic goals and shine bright.
Where?
Tauranga Boys’ & Girls’ Colleges, TBC Health Room (ask at the office if you’re new!)
When?
We’ll be open these afternoons:
- February: Thurs 13th, Wed 19th, Tues 25th
- March: Wed 5th, Thurs 13th, Tues 18th, Wed 26th
- April: Thurs 3rd
Time?
3:30 PM – 6:00 PM (drop in anytime stay for 10 minutes or the whole session!)
Snacks?
Of course! We’ve got free snacks and kai to keep you going.
What’s happening?
Get help from experienced teachers in any subject—whether it’s maths, science, English, or anything else. Need extra support with reading, writing, or basic numeracy? No problem! We’ve got tutors ready to help you build those skills.
This is more than just homework help—it’s a safe, welcoming space where you can learn, ask questions, and grow. A big fakaaue lahi (thank you) to Talanoa Ako and Pasifika in the Bay Trust for making this happen for our community!
